PLV reports increase of COVID-19 cases

Katie Walsh, Managing Editor

As COVID-19 cases increase around the country, Pace’s PLV campus is no exception with 13 new cases. The cases are rising two weeks prior to students leaving campus to return home for the upcoming holidays and winter break.

Interim Dean for Students, Rachel Carpenter, sent an email to all students last week explaining that Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 would be the last two days of community testing. All students were able to schedule a test before break, in addition to the randomized population selection.

Pace is encouraging those who test positive or are issued to quarantine remain in their current location to complete the isolation to avoid unnecessary contact with others.
