Winged eyeliner creates the illusion that your eyes are slightly bigger than their actual size and gives a sultry cat eye look if done correctly. Ladies know that winging your eyeliner is no easy task and can seem impossible to get one eye to perfectly match the other.

To get a perfectly crisp wing every time, try using scotch tape. Yes, scotch tape. A roll of scotch tape is about $4-$6 at any convenience store and that is all you need to do the trick.

Step 1. Take about an inch of scotch tape off of the roll and press it on your hand. Pressing it on your hand will get most of the sticky part off of the tape before you apply it to the sensitive skin around your eye. Which brings us to..

Step 2. Take the tape off of your hand and stick it from the outer corner of your eye to the end of your eyebrow. Make sure it’s stuck on there good.

Step 3. Apply your desired eyeshadow or eyeliner to your lid.

Step 4. The wing. Liquid eyeliner will work best for this. Start winging your liner off of your lid how you normally would, but don’t be afraid to get sloppy. The liner can go over your tape as you perfect the wing to the size you would like.

Step 5. Remove the tape and ohhh and ahhh over your perfect wing. Seriously, scotch tape works miracles when it comes to winging your eyeliner.

Try it out!!
