The Office of Student Development & Campus Activities (SDCA) hosted Circle of Greeks, an event featuring every Greek organization before formal recruitment, in Kessel Student Center on Wed., Feb. 10.

Circle of Greeks is an opportunity for all students interested in joining Greek life to see every organization and what each has to offer.

With presentations and recruitment videos, each fraternity and sorority gave an overview of their organization in Gottesman. Setters Lounge held every organization and their accompanying table to feature their fraternity and sorority. Organizations that are a part of the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) performed their strolls, unique to their organization.

“I’m looking forward to the performances tonight,” said Edwin Rodriguez, graduate student and brother of Pi Lambda Phi fraternity. “I’m looking forward to the other organizations and seeing what they bring to the table.”

Over the past three years, the location of Circle of Greeks has changed, bringing the Greeks all across campus.

“I think that it’s definitely a change. This is the third different place, from Willcox to the main gym and now to Kessel. Having all the changes makes it a little hard to adapt, but it’s better for the potentials,” said Alexis Neuville, sophomore and sister of Delta Phi Epsilon. “The Greeks are a little thrown off because it’s harder to watch the performances. It’s unfortunate because Circle of Greeks is such a big event on campus.”

This Circle of Greeks, the second in the 2015-2016 school year, is the last recruitment event for the second semester seniors at Pace University. Senior Abby LaMonica and sister of Phi Sigma Sigma reflects on her four years as a member of Greek life at Pace.

“When they say that four years go by fast, they mean it. There was no way I was missing this event tonight. It really makes us seniors look back on these years in Greek life and cherish every second of it,” LaMonica said. “I am going to miss this community so much. I never imagined my time in college to look like this when not thinking of joining Greek life as a first semester freshman. Now I am a second semester senior, and I have accomplished so much. Circle of Greeks has always been one of my favorite events on campus. I am definitely going to miss it.”
