Mercy College Evacuates Campuses, Pace Baseball Game Continues At Dobbs Ferry Campus
Mercy College released an alert today at 4:45 p.m. stating all its campuses were being evacuated due a threat. However, Pace’s baseball game against Mercy at the latter’s Dobbs Ferry campus continued, per the athletics Twitter feeds of both schools.
Mercy’s alert read:
As of 4:20 p.m. all Mercy College campuses are being evacuated due to a threat. Law enforcement is on sight and assisting. All evening class and activities, at all four campuses, are cancelled for the remainder of the day, Tuesday March 8.
Pace’s game against Mercy was scheduled for 3 p.m. today and continued past Mercy’s evacuation alerts until it was cancelled “due to darkness,” as can be seen in both teams’ Tweets.

According to the Journal News, the threat was in connection to a bomb.
