There are many different kinds of dates. There are fun and active dates like going out hiking and there are mellow chill dates in which I prefer. And, the best dates are movie dates. Two people sitting right next to each other and not having to speak to one another and enjoy a movie.

The reasons why movies are the best kind of dates…

1. You don’t have any excuse for saying something dumb. Let’s say that you are notorious for saying things that are awkward. Movies will be your perfect date because no one should be speaking in theatres which will give you a chance to relax and not say something that doesn’t make sense.
2. You can look gross and no one will care.  To make things clear, I’m am not saying do not try. You should always try to look your best for yourself but, let’s say your makeup is not the way you wanted it to be that day. For example, you didn’t perfect the winged eyeliner that you redid 20 times that day and time was at its essence. You take a q-tip to fix it once more but even though you are careful, the pain is so excruciating and you feel like you have ripped your eyelids out. Movies are in the dark. So, maybe your wings aren’t even. Your date will not notice.
3. They are cheaper and they won’t make you seem cheap. The average price of a movie ticket is about $13. Together your date will only cost you about $26 for tickets and about $20 for food. That is an appetizer and one plate at a nice restaurant.
