The Elisabeth Haub School of Law has raised its alert level to yellow (low-to-moderate risk) and switched to remote learning after two first-year students living in Dannat Hall tested positive for COVID-19 this past Friday. According to an email alert sent out by Dean Horace Anderson, residents in Dannet were put into quarantine and the two students were moved to isolation. The two-week quarantine period ends on the 30th with students free to leave on Halloween. Students will be tested again on Tuesday, October 20, and contact tracing will be conducted. 

This comes in the aftermath of Pace Pleasantville’s outbreak after students in Alumni Hall tested positive for COVID-19. The two-week isolation period lasted from September 25 to October 8, with quarantined students expressing dismay with the food given to them and reports of people leaving isolation rooms during this time.
