The town of Pleasantville has many new restaurants popping up as it is a popular place to own a business. The new restaurant Fatt Root is an Asian cuisine, with many different options to pick from.

They have dishes that are friendly to vegans, vegetarians, nut allergies, gluten-free and dairy-free options. There is even an option to create an individualized lunch bowl.

The restaurant scene is sheek with wood accents outside by the Fatt Root sign. It is right next to The Black Cow coffee roasters, another spot that popped up in town recently. The Fatt Root has pictures of food printed onto the windows, such as noodles, egg, salad and a mushroom. This makes it visually appealing to the people outside walking by. And certainly catches your eye, while making you hungry. Inside it has wooden tables and a wooden bar that looks out.

The Fatt Root has ideal prices that can be affordable to Pace students and it is not a far walk from campus; just down the road on Wheeler Ave, across from the train station. It is a fast-paced lunch spot in which they put your meal together on the spot, Chipotle style.

Fatt Root has many choices from appetizers (snacks) to dishes. Their noodles are a big hit, they also have salads and vegetarian choices then signature meals. A bowl filled with grain or salad, vegetables, protein, sauce, and toppings for $11.99. They have a list of several different spices and sauces that are popular. The restaurant also offers a variety of drinks including wine, beer and sake.
