Here is a quick recap of the senate meeting that took place last Friday:

  • Jeanne Gallagher, from the Strategic Planning Committee, told students about changes to various things, including: unique branding and identities for each campus, some of Pace’s core curricula, and new deans for both Dyson and Lubin. The new deans will hopefully be in place by July 1.

  • Campus-wide emergency training will be on March 9. This will include first aid training, Narcan & CPR training, etc.

  • Coronavirus updates will be given by Shawn Livingston at March 11’s Town Hall meeting in Gottesman.

  • Livingston will also be sending a video tutorial to everyone about how to clean out their OrgSync pages before the data is moved over to the other platform during the summer break.

  • As of Friday, March 6, only 1 application for the 2020/21 SGA e-board was completed, and the due date is March 8 at Midnight.

  • There was a proposal for a new arcade room. Proposed locations includes Pace Perk, “Old Kessel,” Conference rooms A & B, one of the resident hall lobbies or lounges and a section of the library. This was just a proposal, nothing is set to happen yet.
