Pace MBB 2022-23 Schedule Releases

Pleasantville, N.Y.- Pace Men’s Basketball’s schedule for the 2022-23 season has been revealed.

The Setters’ exhibition game has not been announced. Last year’s game was vs Division I Syracuse University Orange.

Pace’s schedule is comprised of 28 games with 14 on the road and 14 at home. 8 games are non-conference, two of them to start the year versus Molloy University and Queens College in Queens, N.Y. on November 11th-12th. Another non-conference game is a matchup with Mercy College meeting at the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Health Fitness & Recreation Center on November 16th. Also visiting Goldstein is the College Of Staten Island on November 27th and Bridgeport University on December 8th

Rounding out the non-conference completion is a couple of road games in December. The Setters go to Rutherford, N.J. on December 13th to meet Felician University and on December 17th, up to Sparkill N.Y. to battle Saint Thomas Aquinas.

There are 20 NE-10 games, 10 away and 10 home. It begins at Syracuse, N.Y. vs LeMoyne College Dolphins on November 19th. The team’s first NE-10 home game is against Saint Anselm College on November 22nd.

The other 9 road games for The Setters are vs Southern New Hampshire University in West Haven, C.T. (Nov 30), Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y. (1/4/23), in  Rindge, N.H. visiting Franklin Pierce University (1/7/23), and in Worcester, M.A. to visit Assumption University (1/14/23).  After that week, Pace returns to West Haven to play the University of New Haven. On January 28th and February 1st, Pace plays at Southern New Hampshire University and at  Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. Their final 2 road games are vs rivals Bentley University in Waltham, M.A on February 11th, and at College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y. on February 18th.

NE-10 teams will be at the Goldstein Center after Saint Anselm College in Southern New Hampshire and College of Saint Rose on December 3rd, 6th, and 31st. In January, American International College visits on the 10th, followed by Saint Michael’s College on the 18th. During the following week on the 24th, Lemoyne College comes to Goldstein. For February, Southern Connecticut State University comes on February 4th, and Adelphi University is here on location on the 15th. Ending the regular season is a tilt vs Franklin Pierce on February 21st.

Men’s Basketball coach Matt Healing and the Setters hope to improve on their historic previous season, winning a share of the regular Season Title and reaching the second round of the Division II Basketball Tournament.
