For the first time in a long time, the Oakland Raiders are back! Sunday nights beat down of the  Denver Broncos cemented their legitimacy as a playoff team.

Oakland has had success in large part to their very talented roster.  General Manager Reggie McKenzie has to be a front runner for executive of the year.  From the quarterback position to the safety position, this team has a tremendous amount of talent.

Quarterback Derek Carr’s favorite player is Brett Farve, and boy is Carr sure playing like him. 17 touchdowns to only 3 interceptions, and passing for 2,505 yards has put Carr on the list for MVP. He has been the biggest bright spot for this team.

You also have to tip your hat to the offensive line, it is clearly the second most dominate offensive line in football behind the Cowboys of course. They are impressive in the pass game protecting Carr, as well as leading the way Latavius Murray, who had 114 yards against the Broncos.

Everybody except for the Broncos, Chiefs and Charger fans should be glad that the Raiders are back. It is better for the league when the silver and black are winning.

If they keep this up then they may get a chance to avenge the Tuck Rule Game in January.
