Hello Friends,

Welcome, if you’re reading this it means two things: 1) you obviously have nothing better to do with your life and 2) it’s officially time for us to return to the soul sucking institution that is college. Summer has come and it’s almost time for Fall to overtake our senses with sweater weather, boots, and the smell of Pumpkin Spice Lattes at every turn, but before we officially leave summer behind, let us indulge in one of the summer’s biggest new adult romance novels, “Ugly Love” by Colleen Hoover.

Despite being 336 pages the book is a pretty quick read due to the fact that it is incredibly hard to put down. Now, before you give me some crap lines about how you don’t have time to read and reading isn’t your thing, let me tell you why it should be in the case of this book:

1. It features a sexy airline pilot named Miles Archer  – because who’s never thought of joining the “mile high club” – don’t you lie to me!
2. Said pilot also happens to be one of those elusive emotionally damaged types that we girls go gaga over because there’s a very small chance that we might be the one that makes him change.
3. The leading lady is nurse named Tate Collins (slight Grey’s Anatomy fantasy, anyone? …just me? That’s okay.)
4. It’s supposed to be a movie pretty soon so read this while you still have a chance to say “I read the book before it was a movie”, to help you get the gist I’ve  inserted a picture of the actor playing Miles Archer, Nick Bateman, below and a link to the teaser trailer  (you’re welcome in advance.)

   

5. Prepare to have your heart broken by proxy because why not? It’s still summer for a little while.

I feel like I shouldn’t have to say this, but we’re all adults here: there is sex in this book, I won’t tell you what kind because I have to leave you with something to look forward to.
