On December 6, Pace Fit announced that Pace Perk acquired them, and they are now accepting meal plan.

According to Fit’s senior marketing manager Kearra Antoian, this change was meant to help Fit rebuild their business after the pandemic.

“We were only open three weeks out of the whole school year,” Antoian says, referring to the 2020-2021 year. “We were fortunate to be able to open again this fall semester, but we were still struggling, on top of trying to get awareness out to all the students at Pace, especially students who were not on campus during the pandemic. We were also struggling with the lack of Flex dollars among students. Looking into all these factors, we realized that it was best if Perk would acquire us… in doing so we were able to get meal plan… Hopefully this will build our business in the future.”

Fit is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. They will also be open during basketball games to cater to students and spectators. This year, they introduced acai bowls to their menu, alongside their previous healthy snack and drink options.
